Citi Logik has joined the City Possible network, pioneered by Mastercard. The two companies will work together to leverage the power of our combined data assets to deliver next-level insights to customers.
A new model for urban innovation
City Possible is a new model for urban innovation in which a global network of cities, businesses, academics and communities work together to make the world’s cities more inclusive and sustainable.
Once key challenges that are shared by cities across the globe have been identified, City Possible will provide a framework for co-creating, testing and scaling solutions – connecting cities with private sector players such as Citi Logik that are equally committed to people-centred design.
The many uses of people movement insights
Citi Logik generates people movement insights from mobile network data to help customers make informed decisions to optimise their operations. This can help with managing traffic, major events, emissions, EV charging, tourism and the night-time economy.
For example, by using our origin and destination information, customers can identify the best locations to install the right EV chargers and ensure that the driver gets the charge they need to get to their final destination.
Chris Bax, Chief Executive of Citi Logik, said: "We provide insight into the way people move on foot, in a vehicle or by train, which we use to solve complex challenges in the sectors of transport, mobility, smarter cities, retail & advertising and the built environment."
"Joining the City Possible initiative will enable us to build strong relationships with companies, local authorities and communities with similar goals. We look forward to working with Mastercard and its other partners to help shape the future of cities worldwide.”
